Tigers fall at Sperry, Oklahoma, 4-3

The Ozark High School Tigers lost a 4-3 baseball decision at Sperry, Oklahoma, Friday when the host team scored in the last of the sixth.

Matt Jordan took the hard-luck loss on the mound, working 6 innings, scattering 7 hits with 5 strike outs and 3 walks.

Bundy was the winning pitcher for Sperry, striking out 10.

Ozark jumped on top in the first when Brett Neill walked and scored on a single by Derek Harwell. The Tigers went up 2-0 in the second when Justin Johnson walked and moved to third on a single by Matt Jordan, scoring on a sacrifice fly by Brett Neill.

Sperry cut the lead to 2-1 in the last of the second on an RBI single by Tell.

Ozark made it 3-1 in the fourth when Matt Jordan singled and scored on a single by Brett Neill.

Sperry tied the score at 3-3 in the fifth, then took the lead in the last of the sixth with an RBI single by Wolf.

Ozark is now 2-2 on the season.
