The Ozark High School Lady Tigers defeated Parkview 4-1 and topped Nixa 3-1 to claim the championship of the Ozark Junior Varsity Soccer Tournament on a cold, wet pitch Saturday.

Ozark opened the tournament with a 4-1 win over Parkview. Sophomore Taylor Jordan scored the first goal of the match.

Taylor Jordan was taken down near the goal, and the resulting penalty kick by freshman Danielle Poivre was good for the second Lady Tigers goal.

Danielle Poivre used an assist from Taylor Jordan to score the third Ozark goal.

Taylor Jordan scored an unassisted goal to conclude the Ozark scoring against Parkview.

In the title match, freshman Mollie Killion scored all three Ozark goals as the Lady Tigers downed arch-rival Nixa.
