Lady Tigers top Greenwood 6-1

The Ozark Lady Tigers improved to 10-1 on the 2008 soccer season with a 6-1 non-conference victory over Greenwood in Springfield at Cooper Sports Complex on Tuesday, April 15.

Ozark has now won 10 in a row since dropping a 1-0 season opening match at Waynesville.

Senior Erica Hogan opened the scoring against Greenwood with an assist from Alicia Collard in the first half.

Just a minute later, Alicia Collard scored with an assist from Megan Gunnels.

Erica Hogan added her second goal on a penalty kick, putting the Lady Tigers up 3-0.

Greenwood’s goal came from Maddie Ester.

Alicia Collard scored with an assist from Megan Stodden, putting Ozark on top 4-1, which was the halftime count.

Megan Gunnels opened the second half scoring with an unassisted goal for the Lady Tigers.

Alicia Collard scored the final goal of the match with an assist from Megan Gunnels.

The Lady Tigers will travel to Sedalia to compete in the Smith-Cotton High School Soccer Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Tigers will play at the Clover Dale Soccer Park in Sedalia. On Friday, Ozark will play Harrisonville at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday at 9 a.m., the Lady Tigers will play Columbia Hickman at 9 a.m.

On Saturday at 2 p.m., Ozark faces Warrensburg.
