Lady Tigers shut out Neosho 5-0

The Ozark High School Lady Tigers rolled to a 5-0 victory over Neosho at Ozark in the first match of the Christian County Soccer Tournament on Friday, April 11.

Ozark is now 6-1, winning six straight after a 1-0 setback at Waynesville to start the season.

Ozark led 2-0 at the break with a pair of goals by Erica Hogan.

Alicia Collard scored twice in the second half for the Lady Tigers, and Taylor Jordan accounted for the final goal.

Nixa defeated Bolivar 3-0, Lebanon down Joplin 1-0 and Harrison, Arkansas, topped Willard 2-0 in other first round matches at the tournament.

Tomorrow Ozark will play Lebanon at Ozark at 12:30 p.m. while Nixa will host Harrison at the same time in the semifinals.

The third place match will be at 4 p.m. in Nixa, and the championship match will be at Ozark at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 12
