Lady Tigers fall 3-0 at Glendale

Glendale High School put an end to a long Ozark soccer success streak with a 3-0 non-conference match victory at Lake Country Soccer Center in Springfield on Monday, April 21.

The Lady Falcons improved to 11-3 on the season. Ozark lost a match for the first time since their season opener at Waynesville, falling to 12-2-1 on the season.

Lorin Opfer scored the only goal of the first half, giving Glendale a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Emily Cline scored with an assist from Lindsey Sprouse, putting the Lady Falcons up 2-0.

The Lady Tigers return home Tuesday, April 22, for a 4:30 p.m. match against Richland.

The Lady Tigers junior varsity improved to 9-0 on the season with a 3-0 at Glendale on Monday, April 21.

Mollie Killion started the scoring for Ozark.

Sarah Suiter scored with an assist from Kelsie Brown to put the Lady Tigers up 2-0.

Becca Wood finished off the scoring, getting an assist from Larissa Koehler.

The JV Lady Tigers will be at the Kickapoo Junior Varsity Soccer Tournament on Saturday, April 26, playing Kickapoo at 9 a.m. and Sedalia at 1 p.m.
