The Junior Varsity Lady Tigers defeated Waynesville 3-0 on Tuesday at Waynesville.

Ozark got a break when Waynesville scored an inadvertent goal in the first half, and led 1-0 at intermission.

In the second half, freshman Danielle Poivre took a corner shot which was redirected by freshman Ellie Smidley for an assist to sophomore Taylor Jordan, as Jordan put Ozark on top 2-0.

Taylor Jordan later drove hard to the goal, and teammate Mollie Killon wound up scoring on the play, for the final 3-0 score.

The Ozark Junior Varsity Tournament on Saturday begins with the Lady Tigers playing Parkview at 9 a.m. Willard faces Nixa at 10:30 a.m. The consolation match starts at 1 p.m. The championship will be decided at 2:30 p.m.

Also, the rained out match with Harrison, Arkansas, has been rescheduled for Saturday night at 6 p.m.
